There is no phone discovery algorithm circuitry within the power injector.
The inline power injector does NOT adhere to the phone discovery algorithm and supplies power without checking the line. This will potentially blow out a device that is incapable of accepting power.
This module should NOT be used with the older 340 series product and will potentially smoke the older AP’s.
The in-line power injector supplies power utilizing the “unused” pairs (pins 4,5,7,8)
